There are many user friendly software that can be used for mechanistic analysis and design of road pavement. Some of them are Finite element based software as ABAQUS and ANSYS. Others, such as BISAR, CIRCLY, use multi-layer theory which assumes each pavement layer to be linear elastically, homogeneous and isotropic.
CIRCLY: it calculates the cumulative damage induced by a traffic spectrum consisting of any combination of user-specified vehicle types and load configurations. As well as using the usual ‘equivalent’ single wheel and axle load approximations, optionally the contribution of each vehicle/load configuration can be explicitly analysed.
